So, I'm starting to get a little excited about our trip to China. There's ten of us (5 couples) going and all of us (bar one) have travelled overseas together before so we certainly know who not to ride with in a lift!!!
If you wanna know what our itinerary looks like, I've entered brief descriptions each day on the map. There's also fantastic info and photos about each place on the China Odyssey Tours website (click the link setup under Favourite Links). Of course, I'll be updating the blog (hopefully daily) once we're there complete with our own photos - it'll be just like you're on holiday with us.
It looks like their autumn weather is similar to ours so we can pack fairly light. Apart from when we're at Chengdu and Mt Emei; we will definitely need a warm coat there. Chengdu apparently has less sunshine annually than London and Mt Emei summit is 3,000 metres above sea level!
Oh and the time difference is only 2 hrs behind ... Brisbane 10am, Beijing 8am for those of you who might want to ring and say hello. Otherwise, just post a comment for us to read (out loud to everyone else of course).
